the intensity from the distance at y from Central Maxima is given by

1=10 cos 2(π dy/(gamma D))

Now ,

y= x = fringe width / 3 = gamma D / 3d

Hence,

1=10 cos 2(π dy/(gamma D))

= 10cos 2(π dy )

=10/4
