Let the number of rabbits be x

No of heads =90⇒ No of pigeons =(90−x)

Since a pigeon has 2 legs and a rabbit has 4 legs

x×4+(90−x)×2=224

⇒ 4x+180−2x=224 ⇒ 2x=224−180=44

⇒x=22

∴ No of pigeons =90−20=68
