In AABC, AB = AC = x, BC = 10 cm and the area of AABC is 60square cm. Findx.​

Since both sides are equal, it will be an isosceles triangle with base 10 and other two sides x each.

Area = bh/2 = 60

10*h/2 = 60

Height = 60*2/10 = 12 cm

x = √(12² + 5²) = √169 = 13 cm
