In AB and CD are two equal chords of a circle with centre O. OP and OQ are perpendiculars on chords AB and CD respectively. ZPOQ = 150° then ZAPQ is equal to

So, OP = OQ  (equal chords are equidistant from the centre)

∠1 = ∠2   (angles oppsite to equal sides are equal)

∠1 +∠2 + ∠POQ = 180°

∠1 + ∠1 + 150° = 180°

∠1 = 15°

Since APB is a line segment

∠BPO + ∠1 + ∠APQ = 180°

90°+ 15° + ∠APQ = 180°

∠APQ = 75°
