Answer:

angle c bcoz by formula

triangle measure-180*

there fore if /_A+/_B+/_C=180*

60*+50*+/_C=180*

therefore /_C=180*-110*

/_C=70*

therefore angle c would be the longest side

★ Given :-

In Δ ABC

∠ A=60°

∠B=50°.

★ Have to Find :-

Which side of the triangle is the longest.

★ Solution :-

Diagram :-

\setlength{\unitlength}{1.2 cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(1, 0)(1,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(5,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(1,0)(1,0)\put(2.85,3.2){$\bf A$}\put(0.5,-0.3){$\bf B$}\put(5.2,-0.3){$\bf C$}\qbezier(1.56,0)(1.7,0.3)(1.3,0.5)\qbezier(4.5,0)(4.3,0.3)(4.7,0.5)\qbezier(2.7,2.55)(3,2.3)(3.3,2.55)\put(2.75,2){$\bf 50^{\circ}$}\put(1.7,0.3){$\bf 60^{\circ}$}\put(3.7,0.3){$\bf 70^{\circ}$}\end{picture}

So , As we all know that triangle have 3 sides and 3 angles.

The sum of all the angles of the Triangle ↬ 180°

Firstly , Let's find out the third Angle of the triangle .

So,

In △ABC

Applying angle sum property

∠A + ∠B + ∠C ↬ 180°

From given :-

∠ A = 60°

∠B = 50°

∠60° + ∠50° + ∠C ↬ 180°

∠110° + ∠C ↬ 180°

∠C ↬ 180° - 110°

∠C = 70°

As we all know ,

In any triangle side opposite to the largest angle is the longest side.

Here ∠C is largest angle and the side opposite to it is AB.

Hence , AB is the longest side.

Then comes ∠B and side opposite to it is AC

Hence , AC is the second longest side.

At last, comes ∠A and side opposite to it is AC

Then , BC is the shortest side.

Their increasing order of sides is

BC < AC < AB
