Given:  In ∆ABC ∠A ≅ ∠C

To Find :  which two sides of ∆ABC are congruent

Solution:

In ∆ABC

∠A ≅ ∠C

Measure of congruent angles are equal

=> m∠A = m∠C

In a triangle side opposite to Equal angles are Equal

Side opposite to ∠A  = BC

Side opposite to ∠C  = AB

Hence length of BC  = length of AB

Segments with equal length are congruent

Hence

BC ≅ AB

Sides AB and BC are  two sides of ∆ABC are congruent
