In ΔABC, AB = 4 cm, BC = 5 cm and AC = 6 cm.

Steps for construction :

1.Draw a line segment AB = 4 cm

2. From vertex A draw an arc of radius 6 cm the help of compass.

3.From vertex B draw an arc of radius 5 cm the help of compass intersecting the previous arc.

4. The point of intersection is C

5. Join AC & BC

∆ABC is a required triangle.

1.Draw a line segment AC = 6 cm with the help of scale.

2. From point A draw an arc M of radius 4 cm with the help of compass.

3.From point C draw an arc N of radius 5 cm with the help of compass.

4.Take intersection of the M and N arc.

5. The point of intersection is B.

6. Join AC & BC.
