Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

ΔABC, AB=6cm, BC=7cm and AC=3cm

To find:-

Find the area of ΔABC

Solution:-

Given sides of the ABC are 6cm,7cm,3cm

Let they be a=6cm,

b=7cm,

c=3cm

Formula:-

If a,b,c are the three sides of a triangle then the area is {(S(S-a)(S-b)(S-c)} sq.units.It is called herone's formula

Here, S=(a+b+c)/2 units

=>S=(6+7+3)/2cm

=>S=16/2 cm

=>S=8cm

Area ={(8)(8-6)(8-7)(8-3)} sq.cm

=>A=(8×2×1×5) sq.cm

=>A=16×5) sq.cm

=>A=45 sq.cm

Answer:-

Area of the triangle ABC =45 sq.cm
