Answer:

25cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

In triangle ABC,

AB = 9cm

BC = 6cm

CA = 7.5cm

In triangle DEF,

EF = 8cm

Triangle DEF is similar to Triangle ABC

So, Corresponding sides are in proportion,

AB/DE = BC/EF = FD/AC

Take,

AB/DE = BC/EF

9/DE = 6/8

DE = (4/3)*9

DE = 4(3)

DE = 12cm

Take,

BC/EF = FD/AC

6/8 = FD/7.5

(3/4)*7.5 = FD

FD = (22.5)/4 = 5.625cm = 5.6cm

Perimeter of triangle DEF = DE + EF + FD = 12 + 8 + 5.6 = 25.6cm

I hope it helps and I also think so the question you have given might be a bit wrong so please try to correct it..
