A + B + C = 180°

A = (5x+20)°
B = C (Angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

b =  \frac{2}{5} (5x + 20) \\ b = 2x + 8
and,

c =  \frac{2}{5}  (5x + 20) \\ c = 2x + 8
Now,

(5x+20)+(2x+8)+(2x+8) = 180

5x+20+2x+8+2x+8 = 180

9x+36 = 180

9x = 144

x = 144/9

x = 16

Measure of angle A.
(5×16)+20
80+20
100°

So, Measure of angle A is 100°.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:A + B + C = 180°

A = (5x+20)°

B = C (Angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

and,

Now,

(5x+20)+(2x+8)+(2x+8) = 180

5x+20+2x+8+2x+8 = 180

9x+36 = 180

9x = 144

x = 144/9

x = 16

Measure of angle A.

(5×16)+20

80+20

100°

So, Measure of angle A is 100°.
