It is given that ,

In ∆ABC , <ABC = 90° ,

AD = DC ,

AB = 12 cm , BC = 6.5 cm

∆ADB = ( 1/2 )∆ABC

[ Since AD is a median of ∆ABC ]

= ( 1/2 )[ (1/2)× AB × BC ]

= 1/4 × 12 × 6.5

= 19.5 cm²

Therefore ,

Area of ∆ADB = 19.5 cm²
