Step-by-step explanation:

area of ∆ABC is 1/2 x BC x AE. ( if BC is base then AE is height)

area = 1/2 x 7 x 10 = 35cm^2

if AC is base then BD is the height..

area is 1/2 x 25 x BD = 35

BD = 70/25 = 2.8 cm
