In ABC . AD is the bisector OF A and
lies on BC. IF AB= 6cm AC= 5m and
BD = 3cm, then BC is how many cm

Answer:

BC = 4 cm

if we take the sides of the triangle are 6 cm , 5 cm ,4 cm

6:5:4

6+5+4 = 15

sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°

180 ÷ 15 = 12

12 × 4 = 48

12 × 5 =60

12 × 6 =72

we know the angles opposite to sides are in the same ratio

BA = 6 cm so angle C = 72°

AC = 5 cm so angle B = 60°

then BC = 4 cm because angle A = 48°
