In ∆ABC angle B= 90 D is the midpoint of hypotenuse
AC. If BD = 4.5cm ; then. Find the length of
hypodenuse Ac.​

Given :- Triangle ABC

  • Angle = 90°
  • D is a midpoint of AC

To find :-

  • Length of AC

Solution:-

  • As we know that line joining two midpoint of hypotenuse and to right angle is half of length of hypotenuse.

Since AC is hypotenuse and Angle B is right angled and D is midpoint.

Therefore :-

  • Length of AC = 2 × BD

= 2 × 4.5

AC = 9 cm

Therefore ,length of AC is 9 cm.
