Answer:

BM = 9.6

Step-by-step explanation:

A= 1/2 (AB)(BC)

= 1/2 (12)(16)

= 96

NOW TO FIND BM WE HAVE

A= 1/2 (AC)(BM) .........(1)

NOW TO FIND AC WHICH IS HYPOTENUSE,USE PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

AC^2 = (12)^2. + (16)^2

=. 144 + 256

=. 400

HENCE

AC = 20

NOW SUBSTITUTING VALUES IN (1)

A = 1/2 (20)(BM)= 96

10 BM. =96

BM = 96/10

BM = 9.6

HOPE YOU WILL GET IT.
