in ∆ABC, angle B = angle C, AB = 5 cm and BC = 8 cm, then find the perimeter of ∆ABC.​

In ∆ ABC

Angle B = Angle C (Given )

Then

AB = AC (Opp. sides of equal angles are equal)

AB = 5 cm

Then AC = 5 cm

Perimeter =

AB + BC + AC

5 + 8 + 5

= 18 cm

Hence

Perimeter = 18 cm
