In ∆ABC, angle BAC = 90° = angle APB . BC = 85 cm , AC = 75 cm and BP = 32 cm . Find x and y .

in right angle ABC

(x^2)+(75^2)=(85^2)

x^2=7225-4225

x=√3000

x=10√30

in right angle APB

(32^2)+(y^2)=x^2

1024+y^2=3000

y^2=3000-1024

y=√1972
