In ∆ABC angleB =90° and angleC =30°. If AC =18 then AB= ?

Answer: 9cm

The triangle is right-angled at A

So we know that

angle C = 30°

AC or hypotenuse = 18

so we know that

Sin∅ = opposite/hypotenuse

Sin30° = Opposite/hypotenuse = AB/18

Sin30° = 1/2

1/2 = AB/18

AB = 18/2

AB = 9cm
