so the angles of ∆ABC

angle A = 60

angle B = 90

angle C = 30

so the sides are

AB = opposite 30 (angle C) = x

BC = opposite 60 (angle A) = (root 3) × x

AC = opposite 90 (angle B) = 2x

AB:AC = x:2x = 1:2
