Correct question :-

  • In ∆ABC , if angle A =40° and angle B =60° and In triangle ∆PQR , angle P = 40 ° and angle R =60° . Then correct relationship is ___

____________________

Answer :- The relationship is that they are equal and congruent.

_____________________

Step by step explanation:-

____________

Given :- < P = < A

< R = < B

Prove :-

<C + 40°+60° = 180°

<C + 100° = 180°

< C = 180°- 100°

<C = 80°---------(¡)

< Q + 40°+60° = 180°

<Q =180°+100°

<Q= 80° ---------(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii)

<C = < Q

< C and < Q are the greatest angle .

So, By theorem

The opposite side of < Q is longest side .---(iii)

The opposite side of< C is longest side.-----(iv)

From equation (iii) and (iv)

PQ = AB ( < C and < Q are equal )

By ASA congruency

∆ABC is congruent to ∆ PQR
