In ∆ABC,
F and E are the mid points of AB and AC.
∴EF=12BC
Similarly
DF=12ACandDE=12AB
Perimeter of ∆DEF = DE + EF + DF
= 12AB+12BC+12AC
=12∗7+12∗8+12∗9
=3.5 + 4 + 4.5
=12cm
∴PerimeterofΔDEF=12cm
