In Δ ABC (picture attached), the point D lies on the AC side and E on the BC side. We also know ∡ABD = 30°, ∡BAE = 60°, ∡CAE = 20°, ∡CBD = 30°. Can you please calculate ∡AED = ? °

Given: △s ABD and CAE are equilateral triangles.

∠CAD=∠CAB+∠BAD

∠CAD=∠CAB+60 (I)

∠BAE=∠BAC+∠CAD

∠BAE=∠BAC+60 (II)

Thus, from I and II

∠CAD=∠BAE (∠BAC=∠CAB (Common angles))
