in ∆ABC right angled at A. if AB=12cm,AC=5cm find length BC,cot B and cosec C

Answer:

By using Pythagoras theorem;

AB² + AC² = BC²

12² + 5² = BC²

144 + 25 = BC²

169 = BC²

THEREFORE, BC = 13

cot B = adjacent/opposite

= 12/5

cosec B = hypotenuse/opposite

= 13/5
