In ΔABC, the measure of angle A is equal to the sum of the measures of ∠B and ∠C. Also the ratio of measures of ∠B and ∠C is 4:5. Then find the measures of angles of the triangle.

Let angle B be 4x and angle C be 5x.

It is also given that angle A = angle B + angle C

therefore angle A = 9x

BTP,

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180

=> 18x = 180

=> x = 10

therefore angle A = 90° ,B = 40° and C = 50 °
