Opposite sides of the parallelogram are congruent.

So DC=12

Solve by Pythagoras Theorem to get DF
DC^2 = CF^2 + DF^2

Answer:

6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

AB= 12 cm

therefore CD = 12 cm as AB = CD (opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal)

Area of parallelogram = base * height

                                       = AE*CD

                                       = 7.5*12

                                       = 90cm^2

similarly area of parallelogram = base*height

                                         90 = FC*AD

                                          90 = 15*AD

                                         AD=90/15

                                         AD = 6 cm
