Undoubtedly, sharing is a wonderful quality. Only divine people share. Ordinary people just don’t care; and the greedy people like Scrooge only amass wealth and lead a miserable life.
A Christmas Carol contains lots of messages regarding miserliness and sharing. Scrooge is a typical materialistic man representing the money-minded business man of the nineteenth century. Though he is rich, yet he is miserable and forlorn. He is visited by the ghost of Marley, his former partner, and the three ghosts of Christmas Present, Past, and Future. They teach him the value of sharing. They also show him his doom if he does not mend his ways. Finally he is transformed and feels the joy of sharing his wealth with his near and dear ones.
