Given - Total number of students : 30

Number of students with spectacle : 3

Find - probability on random selection that student wears glasses(spectacles).

Solution - Probability is calculated by the formula - number of favourable outcome / total number of favourable outcome.

In the mentioned case, number of favourable outcome is the selection of student wearing spectacle, which is 3.

total number of favourable outcome is the total number of students in class which is 30.

Now keeping values in formula -

Probability = 3/30

Probability = 1/10.

Thus, probability of selecting spectacle wearing student on random selection is 1/10.
