Given,

A circle with centre P and many other points in the diagram.

To find,

The chord, segment PA, diameter, radius, centre, central angle and angle CPA.

Solution,

The chord will be BC, segment PA will be the radius, the diameter will be segment DC, the radius will be PC, the centre is P, the central angle will be angle CPA and angle CPA will be the central angle.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

The chord of a circle is a line joining the two points on the circle. So, the lines joining two points on the circle are BC and DC.

Segment PA is the radius because the straight line joining the centre with a point on the centre is the radius.

The diameter is the longest chord passing through the centre of the circle. So, it is DC.

Radii of the circle are PA, PC, and PD. ( Note that all radii are equal.)

The Centre of the circle is given to be at point P.

The central angle of the angle is the angle made between the two radii. So, it can be the angle CPA and APD.

Angle CPA is a central angle.

Hence, the chord is BC, segment PA is the radius, the diameter is segment DC, the radius is PC, the centre is P, the central angle is angle CPA and angle CPA is the central angle.
