Interesting and very good question mate crisis is the only time when people will get together by forgetting thier selfishness and centerdness.

Eg:- You might have heard of Nazi Germany the real reason for Germany to become Nazi Germany isn't because of Hitler's speech not because of the Hitler's style. It only played role as a catalyst but the real reason was German people faced a serious crisis and depression because of the ineffectiveness in the government that is both communism and democracy Germans faced poverty, inferiority between other countries due to the damage that was done in world war one. So the Germans needed iron fist lead who would not only must form a effective government but also must came German great again(which was one of the policy carried by Hitler during campaign speech and Hitler made Germany not just a super power but also nation whose might can sabatoge others who comes in a way during those times the Nazi Germany would have flourished if not for Hitler's lunatic nature. So that is why there is there proverb used by many philosophers "If Hitler was the worst thing that happened to Germany he was also the best".
