In air, a leaf will fall more slowly than a baseball. How would the speeds of the falling leaf and baseball change if there was no air?
A.The leaf would now fall faster than the ball.
B.The baseball would still fall faster than the leaf.
C.The leaf and the baseball would fall at the same speed.
D.The leaf and the baseball would not fall if there was no air.

the answer is C. because when the leaf and baseball fall together in air the speed of the leaf is reduced due to air resistance provided by the atmosphere. since the surface area is more in leaf more resistance will be provided to the leaf thus slowing its speed. in vacuum (no air) no air resistance will be provided so both will fall together
