By putting these values we get ,

7 + 7 + ( -9 )

17 + ( -9 )

[ Note :- ( + ) × ( - ) = ( - ) ]

17 - 9

Solution :-

Put values of a and b

=>7 + 7 + ( - 9 )

=>17 + ( - 9 )

=>17 - 9

=>8
