2y² + 7y + 5 = 0
Here a = 2 , b = 7 , c = 5
α,β are 2 zeroes

So sum of the zeroes = α + β = - b/ca= -7/2

Product of zeroes = αβ =  c/a = 5/2

Now just put the values
α + β + αβ = ( α + β) + αβ
= -7/2 + 5/2
= -2/2 = -1

So required answer is -1

Hope This Helps You!

Compare given equation with ay^2+by+c=0
a=2, b=7, c=5
Given zeroes are alfa and beta
i) alfa +beta = -b/a= -(7/2)
ii) alfa* beta = c/a =5/2
Value of
Alfa +beta +(alfa)(beta)
=-7/2 +5/2
=-2/2
=-1
