so given and twenty fourth term is twice the 10th term
let the first term be a and the common difference be d
the 10th term=a+9d
and the 24th term=a+23d
given
a+23d=2(a+9d)
a+23d=2a+18d
a=5d
we have to prove
36th term is twice the 16th term
36th term=a+35d
=5d+35d
=40d
and the 16th term=a+15d
=5d+15d
=20d
so 40d is twice the 20d
and hence 36th term is twice the 16th term
