As here,

We have to write the AP.

As we know that,

In AP the numbers are written in such a way that it follows the same pattern.

As here,

First term = a = 8

Common Difference = d = - 4

So, next terms will be a, (a+d), 9a+2d), (a+3d), (a+4d), (a+5d), and\:so\:on

So, the next term will be 8, (8-4), (8-(2\times 4)),  (8-(3 \times 4)),  (8-(4 \times 4)),  (8-(5 \times 4)),  (8-(6\times 4)), \\=>8, 4, 0, -4, -8, -12, -16 and\:so\:on

Answer:

If 8 and -4 are the first term and common differences of an AP respectively, then the AP is :

8, 4, 0, -4, -8, etc

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The first term of the AP =8

Common difference = -4

So

the second term = 8+(-4)= 8-4 = 4

the third term = 4+(-4)= 4-4 = 0

the fourth term =0+(-4)= 0-4 = -4

the fifth term = -4+(-4)= -4-4 =-8

So the AP is,

8, 4, 0, -4, -8,etc
