first term of A.P. is 35

explanation:

let the 1st term of A.P. is a

given that,

sum of 1st two terms = a + a1 = 75 eq. 1

common dofference (d) = 5

we know that,

a1 = a +d

= a +5

put the value of a1 in eq. 1 , we get

a + a+ 5 = 75

2a + 5 = 75

2a = 75 -5

a = 70 / 2

a= 35

therefore, first term of A.P. is 35

hope, it will help you .

Step-by-step explanation:

d=5 given

sum of first two terms (a)+(a+d)=75. given

A/Q. (a)+(a+d)=75

a+a+5 =75

2a=70

a=35

so the first term of AP is 35.
