According to the Question,

a + 3d = 13...........[1]

and,a + 7d = 36............[2]

From equation [1],

a = 13 - 3d

Putting a = 3d - 13 in [2],

13 - 3d + 7d = 36

→4d = 23

→d = 23/4

Thus,common difference of given AP is 23/4
