The 11th term is 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula of nth term :A_n=a+(n-1)d

Where A_n = nth term

a = first term

n = No. of term

d = common difference

Substitute n = 3

A_3=a+(3-1)d=a+2d

Substitute n = 8

A_8=a+(8-1)d=a+7d

In an A.P, three times of 3rd term is equal to eight times of the 8th term

So, 3(a+2d)=8(a+7d)

3a+6d=8a+56d

-50d=5a

-10d=a

Substitute n = 11

a_{11}=a+(11-1)d=-10d+10d=0

Hence The 11th term is 0
