In an A.P. values of 10th term and 22nd
term is 33 and - 3 respectively, find 4th
term of the A.P.

GIVEN

10TH TERM =33

a+9d=33.

a=33-9d

22ND TERM =-3

a+21d=-3

put the value of a from above

we get

d=-3

now put the value of d in

a=33-9d

we get a=60

TO FIND 4th TERM

a+3d=60+3(-3)

=51ans

4TH TERM OF AN AP IS 51
