In an ac series rlc circuit the voltage across r and l is 20v ,voltage across l & c is 9 v & voltage across rlc is 15 v . what is the voltage across c ?

Keeping in view that, in an AC series RLC circuit the voltage across R and R is 20v ,voltage across L & C is 9 v & voltage across rlc is 15 v .


The voltage across c is 7.


Explanation:

√(Vr^2 + Vl^2) =20V

Vl - Vc = 9V

Vs = 15V

√[Vr^2 + (Vl - Vc)^2] = 15

Solving the equations we get ,

Vr = 12 , Vl = 16 and Vc= 7.
