Answer:

4.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

a = 4.5

d = 0

n = 101

To find : an = ?

Formula : -

an = a + ( n - 1 ) d

= 4.5 + ( 101 - 1 ) 0

= 4.5 + 0

an = 4.5

What is A.P ?

  • A sequence is said to be an A.P if the difference of two consecutive terms is always same and this difference is called Common difference denoted by ' d ' and the first term of sequence is denoted by 'a'

★ Given:-

  • a = 4.5
  • d = 0

\sf{n = 101}

★ To find:

\sf{a_n}

★ Solution:-

Formula we are going to use :

\sf{a_n = a+(n-1)d}

Where,

" n " = number of terms

" a " = First term of the A.P.

" d " = Common Difference

We will simply substitute the values in it.

We know,

In an A.P.

\sf{a_n = a + (n-1)d}

Therefore,

= \sf{a_n = 4.5 + (101 - 1)\times0}

= \sf{a_n = 4.5 + 100\times0}

= \sf{a_n = 4.5}

Hence,

\sf{a_n = 4.5}
