We know that

tn / an = a + (n - 1 ) d

0 = a + (5 - 1 ) -2

0 = a - 8

a = 8

for verification

tn = a+ ( n - 1 ) d

0 = 8 + ( 5 - 1 ) -2

0 = + 8 - 8

0 = 0

LHS = RHS hence my answer is exactly correct
