In an AP if S5=35 and S4=22 then find 5th trem

Here S5 is given as 35 i.e the sum of first five terms of the AP is 35

Also S4 is 22 i.e the sum of first four terms of the AP is 22

Therefore ,the 5th term,. a5 =S5 –S4= 35–22=13

So the fifth term of the AP is 13.
