3rd term=14
=>a+(3-1)d=14
=>a+2d=14
7th term=-2
=>a+6d=-2
on calculation we get,
-4d=-16
d=4
Now, a on calculation we get 6
Now the required AP is
6,10,14,20,.........

7th term =a+6d=. -2.........(2)
subtracting equation 2 from 1,
-4d = 16
d = -4
putting the value of d in equation 1
a+2(-4) =14
a-8. =14
a= 14 +8
=22
now,
last term(an) = a +(n-1)d
-14. = 22 +(n-1) (-4)
-14-22. = (n-1)(-4)
-36/-4. = n-1
9. =n-1
n= 10 answer
