Hi.

Here is your answer---

____________________

Let the number of Soldiers before the battle be x.
Thus, number of Soldiers  injured = 6% of x.
                                                     = 6x/100.

The number of solderers who still alive = 282.

Thus,
We know,
                x = 282 + 6x/100
           100x = 28200 + 6x
             94x = 28200
                 x = 300

Thus, total numbers of soldiers before the battle is 300.

Hence, number of Soldiers injured = 6x/100
                                                        = (6 × 300)/100
                                                        = 18 Soldiers.

Thus, number of solders who are seriously injured is 18.
