In an army containing 60 Jawans, the food stores is sufficient for 15 days. If 30 more Jawans join the camp,find the number of days for which the stored food will last? Please explain(I'll mark you as the the brainliest if your answer helps me)​

Let the number of days for which the food will last be x days

When 30 more jawans joined the camp,then total no. of jawans in the camp = 60 + 30 =90

    no. of jawans                     no. of days

           60                                     15

             90                                    x

Since no. of jawans and no. of days are inversely proportional

60 : 90 : : x : 15

  60 / 90 = x /15

By doing cross multiplication,

90 × x = 60 × 15

 x = 900 /90 = 10
