because air in atmosphere contains approx 80% of nitrogen and approx 20% o2.this leaves water(h2o)to be a very small part of the atmosphere that is why water in an atmosphere is called solute

Answer:

Explanation:Because water vapor is such a small part of the atmosphere it is considered to be the solute not the solvent. Because air is more in quantity than water. The one in a solution which is more in quantity is called solvent and the other solute.
