Heya ☺

Given that

Number of rows = Number of chairs in each row

Solution

Let the number of rows be x. Then,

according to question,

x × x = 2,304

=> x^2 = 2,304

=> x = √2,304

=> x = 48

Hence , there are 48 rows in the auditorium.

Answer:

Number of rows in the auditorium = 48

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: number of rows = number of chairs in each row.

also, capacity of  the auditorium = 2304.

To find : the number of rows in the auditorium

Let x be the number of rows ,

then number of chairs in each row is also x.

As the number of rows and number of chairs  are mentioned , the measures  of the auditorium is 2304

capacity of auditorium = 2304

x × x = 2304

x² = 2304

x =√2304 = 48

∴ Number of rows in the auditorium  is 48
