In an ecosystem the A) Cycling of energy and nutrients is a coupled process.

This is because the cycling of nutrients and energy in an ecosystem occurs hand in hand as side by side process. The cycling of both these components keep the ecosystem functional.

The absence of one component also will lead to the fall of ecosystem. To achieve proper development of organisms proper cycling of energy and nutrients is required.
