winning candidate secures 55 % vote

therefore loosing candidate secures 45% of total vote

the difference between their votes = 2554

55 % - 45 % = 2554

10 % = 2554

so , 100 % = 25540

total votes are 25540

winning candidate secures , 55 × 25540 / 100 = 14047 votes
