Answer:2625 Votes

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose Total votes cast be 100 units

ATQ

30% Secured by Candidate who lost

so 70% rest of the votes is secured by winning candidate

therefore we can say that 30 units is secured by losing candidate and 70 units is secured by winning candidate.

ATQ

(70-30)units = 1500 (the main logic of the question)

40 units= 1500

1 unit=1500/40

70 unit =(Result of 1500/40) * 70

Answer will be 2625 votes
